Great steak. Most peeps in philly have a favorite cheesesteak place, I am a-little more advanced in my cheesesteak game. I have an annual ranking with a GOAT of coarse. Philips was my 2019 cheesesteak of the year winner, 2020 still up in the air!.. prove me wrong..

I was short on cash since I use my card EVERYWHERE, didn't realize it was cash only. Had a roll of dimes. They wouldn't take it. Eventually they conceded. Seemed to be the only place open would rather have tried one of the other more popular reviewed places. Like most reviews its an average cheese steak. After the "change" debacle the cashier was very polite.

I was highly dissatisfied in regards to the food. There's no reason as to why I should have to put my own condiments on my food. When I order an item, the condiments should be placed on the food upon my request. There were condiments there, but having to add condiments to my food interrupts the gelling process. Also, there were no covers to cover the peppers and hot sauce. What if a fly flew into the peppers or hot sauce, and someone got sick? There could be a potential lawsuit. The burger I ordered was not worth the money. The burger was dry, onions were crunchy, and the mushrooms were canned. I would not come back here again.

Split an american with fried onions. Sandwich had ribeye slices, but they kept the gristle. The onions were a bit too underdone. The roll had a good chew to it. I likely wouldn't come back as you can find better not too far from this place.

Very good little Cheesesteak and the people could not have been nicer. The meat is not chopped and is a thicker slice. Very good flavor, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato. If you're in the area, I would stop by. pretty easy access to 76.

Went here because it's my husband and cousins favorite place. Was pretty good but I prefer my cheesesteaks chopped up pretty good. This was mostly big pieces of the steak. All in all still good and open 24 hours!!

I've been coming here for years and ai still don't get the reason for a window to order sandwiches and then a window to order everything else. You pay at each window and pickup at each window. I still don't see how that is efficient.Anyway, the sandwiches are good, but they can be somewhat slow at getting them done. Seems like there are too many people working because the sandwiches aren't coming out any faster...lol!I don't live in the city but when I'm in town I usually swing by here as they are usually open, convenient location, easy to find a parking spot and I appreciate the marketing on the bottled water, but I would prefer my water cold. Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one that ever orders water because they are always pulling it out of a box and not the fridge???

Cheesesteaks are just ok. Doesn't have much seating, and no indoor experience. They do have their own parking lot which is convenient.

Absolutely delicious. Got mine whiz and it was amazing. Recommended by a local friend and he was right. Also, parking was easy

Stopped and picked up some cheesesteaks on the way to the airport, wasn't disappointed.

Geno's is overrated. Philip's was WONDERFUL! Great steaks and sides. Not too greasy and very tasty. Kudos Philip's! You Rock!

Service was OK. Avg. Amount of meat. Multiple cheese options. Chicken and pork available. Pork was a bit dry, but OK. Fries were OK. Just your frozen sysco type fries. Not good value. Steak is not chopped up the way cheese steaks should be.

One of the best cheesesteaks in Philly. And they are open all the time. That is hot sauce on the mushroom steak in the photo NOT ketchup.

Really tasty sandwiches not smothered in cheese sauce, easy access from the interstate. Hot cherry peppers were very flavorful. Service was friendly and fast, there are a handful of picnic tables if you want eat there.

SQ Philip's, we ate there twice in one week. Their STEAKS ARE VERY GOOD. ONE WINDOW IS JUST FOR STEAKS THE OTHER WINDOW IS FOR EVERYTHING ELSE. YOU ADD YOUR OWN CONDIMENTS MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR TO GO CONTAINERS FOR YOUR CONDIMENT BECAUSE WE ORDERED STEAK ON A COLD DAY IN WINTER.

Food is always fresh and taste great. They could add some more meat to the sandwhich and chop it up a little more.

The worst ever!!!! Poor customer service. Waited 20 minutes for fries they were burnt. And to add insult to injury they did not want to give us our money back. We were visiting from California and we had a 2 hour drive to our next stop. It was 13 people in our group and we all spent a pretty penny there. Don't waste your money very disappointing. Not authentic more bread then anything. Th best thing served was the soda.

Don't believe the hype! The cheese is not melted, they give you very little meat, and the little bit of meat that is on the sandwich is mostly fat.

IMO, it's the best steak in the city. I have been eating at Philip's since the mid-90's and the quality has been consistently high since then. I don't like my steak chopped, so that about halves my choices in the city. Philip's is also a lot easier to get to (right off 76). I wouldn't recommend any other steak sammich higher than Philip's.

It was 3 of us and everyone got different type of cheese steak. It was just ok, nothing special. Comparing to many other good spots in Philly this place was not much of a thing. Maybe 6/10

Ill recommend Phil's steaks to anybody who is looking for great food and great service.The staff are great and it's becoming a true favorite to me and my family.And they are here 24/7 and the best part is they took over Florida Styles one of South Philly's greatest inside out places you could find and Phil's knocked it out of the park.I was more then pleased ,and me and my friends and family have been here every chance we can to support Phil's like they all do for our community. So come and show your support and enjoy a great meal and get to know the people of Phil's Steaks. ☆☆☆☆☆

Personally I vant tell the difference between Phil's, pat's and geno's its the same stuff almost same price no clear winner. Food is always great no complaints especially if you picking up yourself service is great

Great Philly Cheese Steak, could use a better system as far as orders are concerned.

If you want to say you had a cheesesteak in Philly, this is the place to go.you can choose exactly what you want on it including onions, mushrooms and of course the type of cheese plus so much more. Vikings a little tight but there is some right around the building. No sit down areas but you can stand at the counter to eat. There is a covered patio in case it's raining.

Cheesesteak was awesome one of the best I have had.
